Cecily's First Time Out

We all knew it was coming.  

(She was climbing up and standing on the play table chairs.  No hands!  I can't wait for her to be 2.)

(She railed like a tiny lunatic until we put her down for her nap.  We are exhausted.)

Happy 3rd Birthday, Arthur!

For the past three years, this little boy has kept me on my toes.  He was born with an unrelenting intensity that on good days we call  "enthusiastic" and "passionate".    He is absolutely smarter than his own good with a sense of humor that frequently gets him out of trouble.  He cares deeply and always considers the feelings of others.  He is quick to compliment and expresses his affections often through the most amazing hugs and kisses and "I just love you SO MUCH!"  Of course, we love him SO MUCH too.  Happy birthday to my sweet Arthur.  We survived the first three, a lifetime to go.
