Today we celebrated Compass' 10th birthday with his favorite things. A day at the beach, time with his family including his beloved Gram and Pap, a nap and, of course, ice cream. I know his spirit was with us but I wish his body was here to hit this milestone. Happy birthday, my sweet boy. A decade ago you arrived, four years later you raced into our arms and we will always be thankful you are part of our family.
